Getting Started
Hi, my name is Michael and I live in Provo, Utah. I joined the Boy Scouts this past summer and I started this blog as a way to show my dad, who is currently serving as a U.S. Army Captain in Gardez, Afghanistan, all of the merit badges I've been working on while he's been gone.
My dad works as a CIED, Counter Improvised Explosive Devices, Officer- so say a little prayer for him. You can see a picture of him under, "13 - Carpentry". He came home for two weeks of R & R and spent an entire day with me just so I could complete the 100th Anniversary of Scouting Carpentry Merit Badge before the December 31, 2010 deadline.
My goal is to earn all 130 Boy Scouts of America merit badges. Hey dad, if you wouldn't have spent that day working on the Carpentry Merit Badge with me I would have failed in my goal already.
You are the best dad in the world!
I LOVE YOU!!
